Following last year's cancellation of the exhibition due to Coronavirus, we hope that conditions enable us to hold the 2021 exhibition and are delighted to confirm that plans are underway. This year it will run between Thursday 26th - to Monday 30th August.
ABOUT MILNTHORPE ART EXHIBITION
The Milnthorpe Annual Art Exhibition runs for 3½ days during August at St Thomas' Church on the edge of Milnthorpe’s Market Square.
Approximately 200 artists submit work with about 500 original exhibits being displayed each year. Members of the public are invited to visit to browse. The artwork is also available to purchase.
Entry to view the exhibition is free but we do sell a catalogue (£3) that lists and prices the exhibits. They typically range from £30 to £1,000. Approximately one third of the work is sold each year and we’re delighted that we’ve helped many of the artists to become recognised and valued.
Refreshments are also on sale and include delicious sandwiches and cakes.
All the money raised goes to local charities and since our first display over 30 years ago we are proud to have raised over £180,000.
