Annie is a professional painter who gained an Honours Degree in graphics design from Liverpool University. For the last decade she has explored ways of capturing the mood of northen Scottish beaches in her chosen medium, acrylic.
"I try to achieve a sense of space in my beach scenes. A sense of place. I want to let the viewer feel what it is like to be on that beach."
Louis Morton of the Men's Forum spoke to Annie recently and asked her to reflect on the 2015 Exhibition.
"I really enjoyed taking part in the Exhibition and being involved with my fellow artists. Being the featured artist this year has brought me a lot of extra business. I would be pleased to exhibit with you again next year."
